Optimism

Optimism is at times a survival instinct. Because its bearer knows that without it, they would seek the quickest possible solution the problem know as life.

Other times, optimism is the inner knowledge things will indeed get better. Maybe they aren’t quite as expected now, or maybe they won’t be exactly as hoped but they will, somehow, someway, get better.

Love, even in its purest form, is mixed with pain. But pain in proper measurements can be a glue, forming a tighter bond between its holders one that, without pain, would not nearly be as strong.
