Love

May 12th, 2006

Love, even in its purest form, is mixed with pain. But pain in proper measurements can be a glue, forming a tighter bond between its holders one that, without pain, would not nearly be as strong.

Just found this in my photos and it made me laugh.

The only problem I noted with this plugin was that it added annoying horizontal bars to the entire admin menu.

I have noticed a number of problems with this plugin, which motivates me to write my own just as soon as I have the time. Problems I have noticed to date are:

  • No marking of the “Home” page as the current page (in the li’s class attribute)
  • Skewing of the Kubrick theme
    • Post title’s lost their linkage
    • Post categories lost linkage
    • Post edit links disappeared (when logged in)

Interesting calendar I found by following a link from this guy’s blog. It’s interesting to me because I am currently trying to develop something very similar to it for another site. The features of this calendar that jump out at me are:

  • the add event box (it’s the unix-loving side of me)
  • pop-up boxes (not windows. I hate those calendars that open up a new window.)
  • syndication

It’s cool. I just wish the source were available.

I daresay that the Google Calendar is even better.
